In 2013, the warmongers of Europe and America, led by US Secretary of State John Kerry, pulled out all the stops for a time-limited, scope-limited, humanitarian, kinetic military action with no boots on the ground (in other words – bombing the Hell out of someone) in order to save the children of Syria (in other words – to get rid of President Bashar al-Assad and install a Western-backed puppet regime.)
The people of Europe and America (with a little help from Russia) overwhelmingly said – NO!
The war-hawk Johns (Kerry and McCain) and gang were long on doublespeak and short on evidence:
But the warmongers never sleep, and they don’t like taking no for an answer. They’re back with new tricks:
Is Assad Now Using Chlorine to Gas His Own People?
So… Assad had to get rid of his best chemical weapons (thanks to Russia), and now he’s resorting to chlorine gas! Where’s the evidence? And what’s the source for this new allegation? Yes, as usual… activists!
Syrian activists accuse Assad of new gas attacks
And once again, no matter how many times the American people say no, the weapons keep on flowing to the al Qaida-linked militants who are fighting to overthrow a government that has never been hostile toward the US:
The CIA wants to use fingerprint scanners and GPS devices to make sure Syria’s rebels target Assad — not the West
This is why it’s more important than ever to remind our public servants in government that we do not agree to any type of war against Syria – humanitarian, kinetic or otherwise – and we don’t care if it means boots on the ground or in the air or whatever type of footwear is used – the answer has been, is and always will be NO!
Call or email Congress:
Russia and Ukraine
By the way, while you have your representative on the phone, remind them that…
– Ukraine is none of our business. It’s very far away and the US has no national interests connected with Ukraine.
– Ukraine is Russia’s business. It borders Russia.
– Ukraine is the victim of a fascist coup. America and Russia agree (and have always agreed) on the topic of fascism: it’s bad.
– Ukraine is not worth risking a military confrontation with Russia (a nuclear power) over. It’s called World War III: it’s a bad idea.
– Ukraine is not worth the blood of even a single American soldier.
– If anything, we should be supporting Russia as an ally against fascism!
Why Everything You’ve Read about Ukraine is Wrong, from Forbes:
Chances are, if you’re reading this and it’s the year 2014, the economy of your own country is in serious trouble. Contact your elected representatives and tell them to butt out of Russia’s business and get to work on an economic recovery plan for your country.
